Fix 1: Restart Your PC

Did you try restarting your PC? Sometimes the error code 43 could occur temporarily and can be easily fixed with a simple restart. So, shutdown your PC and restart it. Check if the error code 43 gone away or still bugging you.

Fix 2: Uninstall Recently Installed Driver

Did you install any new driver for your existing hardware? If you have installed a new driver for your existing hardware can also cause this error due incompatibility issues. What you can do here is uninstall the new driver for the device and undo the changes. Now roll back to the version of the driver prior to the new install.

Fix 3:  Disable and Re-Enable the Device

At times simply disabling and re-enabling the concerned device from the device manager can resolve the error code 43. Press Windows Key + R, type in devmgmt.msc and hit enter in the run dialog box and go to Device manager.

From the device manager find the affected device or a device with a yellow exclamation mark and right-click on it. Next, click on Disable. Now re-enable the device from the Device Manager and see if the error has been fixed.

Fix 4: Uninstall and Reinstall the Driver

To do this go to Start, all programs and search for Device Manager. From the Device Manager window, find the malfunctioning device. Right-click on it and select Uninstall. Click OK when the warning message appears.

Now go back to Device Manager, right-click on your computer name and select Scan for hardware changes. Now Device Manager will scan your computer for hardware changes and install the driver automatically.

Fix 5: Check if the device is working properly

If you are using a USB cable or similar tool to connect your device to your PC, you may end up seeing the error code 43. What you can do here is trying to connect the same device to some other PC and if it is working. If not, you may need to replace the malfunctioning cable or the device itself.

Fix 6: Install Windows Update

Microsoft releases patches to fix the errors found in the previous version of Windows. Try to look for the available updates and install them.
