If you take too many screenshots on your iPhone for tutorial purpose then you need to do few things like adding annotation, blurring your personal information if any or even add shapes for marking or direction purpose before you can publish or share them with your readers or friends. You just can’t achieve it with any third-party photo editing apps as they come with feature to enhance your photo than ability to add shapes, annotation or blur anything.  However, there is one app called as Pinpoint for iOS which allows the users to do these stuffs with ease.

Pinpoint App for iOS

As I said earlier, Pinpoint is a free iOS app which allows the users add text, blur box, and arrows to your screenshots  on iPhone.  There isn’t much to customize when it comes to colors as the app offers only one color which is Red with white outline. if you want more color you can always purchase them using the in-app purchase. Here is how you can use Pinpoint app to add annotations, blur and shapes to screenshots on your iPhone.

Blur, Add Shapes or Annotation / Text to Screenshots on your iPhone

Step 1: Start by downloading and Installing Pinpoint app from Apps store.

Step 2:  Once installed, open the app and allow it to access your photos.

Step 3: Next, select the photo you want to edit.

Step 4: As soon as you select the photo, you see the arrow and rectangle button which you can select to add rectangle or arrow to your screenshots or photo.

Step 5: In case you want to add text to your Screenshots then tap on Aa button and type in your text.

Step 6: At last you can see the checkered button which will allow you to add pixel blur effect.

You can also move the added object on the picture. However, this app also has some limitations such as you can’t adjust the width of arrow or rectangle, you can’t change the size of the text or in case you do any mistake there is no undo option as well. If you are fine with these shortcoming then it’s the best app for your little editing on screenshots and photos on iPhone.
