How to Upload / Save WhatsApp Photos Directly to Dropbox
Since WhatsApp doesn’t support synchronization with cloud services like Dropbox or Google Drive, we will be using a third-party app called DropSync developed by MetaCtrl. DropSync will work as a mediator between WhatsApp and Dropbox. Here is how you can do it.
Step 1: Download and Install DropSync from Google Play Store on your Android device.
Step 2: Next, open Dropbox app and create a new folder named as WhatsApp or whatever you like.
Step 3: Now open DropSync app and authorize it to access your Dropbox account.
Step 4: Now set the Local folder as:
Step 5: Set Dropbox folder as /WhatsApp or whatever you have named your folder in Step 2.
Step 6: Next, set Sync method as Upload only. It would make sure that only uploading process is taking place.
Step 7: Now go to the DropSync settings and change the AutoSync interval to 5 minutes.
That’s it. Now whenever you receive a new photo on your WhatsApp account it will be uploaded to your Dropbox account within minutes after it has been downloaded to your local storage.
