The most asked feature in Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 is back with Windows 10. The lack of Start Menu was something which turned off the Windows 8 users the most. However, Microsoft decided to introduce the new Start Menu with its latest Windows 10. The new Start Menu does not resemble the Windows 7 Start Menu, but is beautifully integrated with the Modern UI.
By default the Start Menu in Windows 10 opens in a minimized window. However, you may want to have the Start Menu on Windows 10 always in maximized state. Opening Start Menu in full screen on Windows 10 is easier by using the maximize button of Start Menu. Here is how you can make it happen.
How to Open Start Menu in Full Screen in Windows 10
To do this you don’t need to go through all the settings of your PC, but use this simple workaround.
1. Open the Start Menu on your Windows 10 PC.
2. Click on Maximize button to Maximize the Start Menu. You can also bring the Start Menu by pressing the Windows key on your Keyboard.
3. Now, if you want to close the Start Menu, simply press the Windows Key on your Keyboard or click on Start button to close it.
4. Since you have closed your Start Menu in Maximized state, next time you reboot your PC and click on Start Menu, it will open in Maximized state.
This workaround is based on Windows 10’s ability to remember the closing state of Start Menu, allowing the users to open the Start Menu in the same state as it was closed. The similar way, you can also bring it to default minimized state by clicking on Minimize button on Start Menu and close it.
