Amazon ebook readers like Kindle PaperWhite are one the best devices to read and store your ebook library. The device is capable of storing thousands of ebooks downloaded / purchased from Amazon. Now if you own a Kindle device and trying to create a backup of your ebook, then follow this step-by-step to know how to backup Amazon Kindle Ebooks on PC. How to Create Backup of Amazon Kindle Ebooks on PC

Step 1: Connect your Kindle Ebook reader to your Windows PC using the USB cable.

Step 2: Your PC will show your device as an external storage device.

Step 3: Now double-click on your Kindle ebook reader to open it.

Step 4: This will show all your ebooks in a folder named as Documents.

Step 5: Press Ctrl + A to select all the documents at once and copy it. Or manually select all the documents or ebooks.

Step 6:  Now paste the same on your computers hard drive and name it as Kindle Backup  or anything you want.

That’s it. You have successfully created backup of your Amazon Kindle Ebooks on your PC. If you want, move a copy of your backup to any of your cloud account like Google Drive or Dropbox. In case, if you accidentally delete all your ebooks from Amazon Kindle, simply move the backup folder to your device to restore it.

Step 1: Download and install the Kindle app on your Windows PC. Mac users can download Kindle App for Mac from here.

Step 2: Once installed, launch the app and sign in using your Amazon account.

Step 3: From Amazon account, you can view all the Ebooks that you have purchased being listed in your account. Right click on any ebook and select Download to save the book on your PC’s hard drive.

Step 4: Create a new backup folder on your PC or Mac and move all the downloaded ebooks to your new backup folder.
