How to Send and Receive Files Through AirDrop with AnyDrop 3 in iOS 8

The AirdDrop app on iPhone and iPad allows the users to share files over Bluetooth and WiFi. However, this app does not support all kind / type of file format sharing and to overcome this you can make use of a Jailbreak tweak called AnyDrop on your iOS 8 running iPhone to share any type of file over AirDrop.  In this article, I will show you how to send and receive any type of files over AirDrop in iOS 8 / iPhone.

Earlier the tweak AnyDrop was available for iOS 7 running devices and now the latest version of the same tweak called AnyDrop 3 is available for iOS 8 running devices. However, the latest version of this jailbreak tweak  not only support iOS 8 but also brings several new features with it.

The updated version now allows you to share different type of files directly from the app you are using like Music player. You can also browse through the system level files and share them. However, the best feature in this new version is that now you can share files from your iOS 8 powered iPhone to any iPhone even if it doesn’t have AnyDrop 3 installed in it.

You can install the tweak from BigBoss repository and once installed, a standalone app will be available on your Home screen. You can view the iOS file system and share those files over AirDrop by launching the app from your Home screen. For example if you want to send an MP3 file then just tap and hold that file, next from the sharing option you can share that file via AirDrop to other iOS running device.

AnyDrop 3 is a must have tweak on your Jailbroken iOS 8 running iPhone 6, 6 Plus or older version of iPhone to bypass the file sharing restriction of iOS.  AnyDrop 3 is available for $2.49 and could be downloaded from the BigBoss repository. The app does not have any setup; hence, you can start using it right after the installation.
