How to Create GIF from Videos on iPhone and iPad
Step 1: Download and install Gyf on your iPhone or iPad from the apps store.
Step 2: Once installed, launch the Gyf app.
Step 3: Gyf requires you to sign up to the service before using it. You can also sign up using your Facebook account.
Step 4: Next, if you want to record live video, tap “New Video” button. Else, tap on “ Choose Video” button to select a pre-recorded from your iPhone Camera roll.
Step 5: If you select New Video, you can create a 10 seconds GIF from it.
Step 6: You can also manage the frame rate and the playback speed after recording your video by tapping on paintbrush icon. Use the sliders to increase and decrease the frame rate or to speed up or slow down the GIF. Your recorded video will be automatically converted in to a 10 second GIF.
Step 7: At last, add title to your GIF before uploading it, by tapping on bubble icon.
Step 8: Now you can upload your GIF by tapping on Upload button and then share it on your social networking accounts like Facebook.
The only disadvantage of this app is that it does not allow you to save your created GIFs on your iPhone and iPad.
