ARchon Runtime Environment will allow you to run Android apps on your Chrome running PC. Today’s article will guide you with necessary steps to run Android apps on Google Chrome.

Running Android Apps on PC is not a new thing. The best way to run Android Apps on PC is to install any Android emulator like Bluestacks and Youwave. Previously I have posted a tutorial on how to install  one of the most popular app Whatsapp on PC.

However, if you want to run Android apps and games on Google Chrome then it can be achieved with the help of ARchon Runtime environment. It allows you to easily run almost any Android apps and games on Google Chrome on your PC.

ARchon runtime environment is available on multiple platforms including Windows, OS X and Ubuntu. Once you install ARchon runtime environment, your official runtime will be replaced with custom runtime.

Three points to consider before proceeding.

  1. ARchon runtime environment is not like Bluestacks emulator. You can’t install it and then start running apps on your PC. You need to download ARchon runtime environment and then link it to Chrome using Load unpacked extension feature.
