Over time, Chrome for Windows has become a mature web browser with new features added in every few weeks. Now Google has added two more features to its web browser for better browsing experience or you can say more effortless search experience. By bringing the voice search and Google Now feature to Chrome for PC, Google has tried to make your search experience better with lesser typing. Plug-in your microphone and say what you would like Google to search for you. With Google now, all your notifications will be available on your desktop. Now, if you are unknown of voice search and Google Now feature in Chrome, this guide will help you to get started.
How to Use Voice Search in Google Chrome for PC
To search using your voice on Google Chrome do the following.
Step 1: Plug-in your Microphone to your PC (skip if you have inbuilt microphone).
Step 2: Open Google Chrome and go to Google homepage or open a new tab. By default, when you open Google Chrome you will be taken to Google Homepage, unless you have changed it.
Step 3: Click on microphone icon in the search bar.
Step 4: Once you click on it, you have to say the words you want to search.
Step 5: Now you will see search results related to your query.
If you want to know today’s date then you would say “Today’s date” and Google will show you today’s date and will read it out for you as well, which includes Day/date/month/year.

By installing this extension, you don’t need to click on microphone icon to start voice search. Just say “Ok Google” and voice search will be ready to take your command.[/su_note]
How to Use Google Now in Chrome for PC
The second feature is Google Now integration with Chrome. If you are using Google Now on your Android or iOS device then you will see it in Chrome’s notification centre as well. You can access it from your PC’s system tray or from Google chrome’s notification centre (top right). Google Now notifications will include weather information, sports information, flight information etc.
