Turn On WiFi Hotspot on Firefox OS

Once your turn on WiFi hotspot on your device, you can share your internet connection with any other WiFi enabled device, including your PC.

Step 1: Open Settings from Homescreen. Or Open Notification Center and select Settings from there.

Step 2: Tap on Settings from the list (Gear icon).

Step 3: Next, tap on Internet Sharing.

Step 4: Enable WiFi hotspot by tapping on WiFi Hotspot.

Step 5: Under WiFi Settings, give your hotspot a name (SSID), select security type and enter new password for your WiFi hotspot.

Step 6: Now search for available WiFi hotspot using another WiFi enabled device.

Step 7: Select your WiFi hotspot and enter password to start accessing internet on WiFi.

How to Enable USB Tethering on Firefox OS smartphone

 If you want to share your internet connection with your PC that does not have WiFi capability that is when, USB tethering comes to rescue. Enable USB tethering on your device, connect your device to PC and browse the internet.

Step 1: Open Settings from homescreen (Gear icon). You can also access it from Notification Center.

Step 2: Tap on Internet Sharing to open it.

Step 3: Now find and enable USB tethering from the list.

Step 4: Connect your Firefox OS running device to PC using a USB data cable and wait till drivers are installed.

Step 5: Done? Now you can start using internet on your PC.
