How to Sync – Transfer Photos from Android Phone to iPad, iPhone


Got a new iPhone or iPad and looking for a way to transfer/sync all your photos from your Android phone to iPhone or iPad? This article will show you how to do it.

It happens that we want to synchronize our photos from Android to iOS running device, but doing this is not as easy as saying “How to sync photos from Android to iPhone and iPad.” Although, not as difficult as passing an entrance exam as well.


Coming back to the topic, there are two ways by which you can easily sync photos from Android to iPhone or iPad. The first method is the old one, and that is using iTunes. How to Sync Photos from Android to iPhone and iPad

Method 1: Sync Using Send Anywhere

Let us begin with a simpler method that as I said before needs you to download an app called Send Anywhere on your smart devices. Send Anywhere allows you to share photos quickly with device connected to the same WiFi network. Alternatively, you can also upload your photos to the cloud server and send a link to your friend.

Step 1: Download and Install Send Anywhere on Android and iOS devices (iPhone/iPad).

Step 2: Once installed, open the app on your Android device and tap on send.

Step 3: Now from the menu tap Photos, select all the photos you want to transfer and tap on OK.

Step 4: Now you will see a six-digit key valid for 10 minutes.

Step 5: Now on your iPhone/iPad Tap on Receive and enter the 6-digit key.

Tip: You can also use QR code for authentication

Step 6: If you have entered the right key then the transfer process will initialize.

Step 7: Now just wait until all your photos transferred to your iOS device.

Method 2: Sync using iTunes

The second method is easy if you are familiar with iTunes. The only thing is, it requires a PC and a USB cable to sync photos from Android to iPhone.

Step 1: Download and install iTunes on your PC if you haven’t done already.

Step 2: Now connect your Android device to PC using USB cable and copy all the photos to your PC.

Step 3: Now connect our iPhone to PC using data cable and start iTunes.

Step 4: Click on Photos and check “Sync Photos from” option.

Step 5: Now click on the drop-down menu beside “Sync photos from” and select the folder where you have stored your photos from Android phone.

Step 6: Click sync button (right-bottom) to initialize the syncing process. Once done, you can find these photos on your device’s photos app.
